At TPIS, the admission process is as simple as possible to ensure that all prospective parents enjoy a stress-free application experience. The process is aimed at giving the school an insight into the type of educational approach and environment the parents believe would be appropriate for their ward to maximize their potential. It also gives an opportunity for the parents to understand the student and teacher interaction at TPIS and its educational approach.

• Step 1: Issue of Admission Enquiry Form

To commence the admission procedure, a prospective parent/guardian can visit the school and obtain an admission enquiry form in the admission office, fill in the details and submit it to the admission officer. A tour to the school campus can be organized based on the parent’s request. Thereafter the parent/guardian will be given a date for the entrance test only if their ward has to be admitted to grade 1 onwards.

• Step 2: Entrance test

On a specified date by the admission officer, the applicant will be given an entrance test to assess his/her basic knowledge in the subjects – English, Kannada and Mathematics. After the entrance test the result and admission of the student will be finalised by the Principal. Upon declaring the result of the entrance test, the student along with the Parent/guardian has to meet the Principal (mandatory) for a personal interview. Thereafter the applicant will receive an admit card duly signed by the Principal based on which the admission office issues an application form for registration.

• Step 3: Application Form

The parent/guardian needs to fill in the application form and ensure that all documents mentioned in step 4 are in order. Parents/guardians need to intimate the admission officer in case their ward requires some special assistance due to any health reasons.

• 4 passport size photographs of the student
• 2 passport size photographs of the parents/guardian                           
• Step 5: Fees payment

Students will be admitted on a first come first served basis depending on the vacancies in that particular class. No formal interviews will be conducted with the child or the parent/guardian. Selected students will be required to make the requisite fee payment immediately to confirm their admission. TPIS reserves the right of admissions. In all matters pertaining to admission, the decision of the admission committee will be final.

Note: Fees once paid will not be refunded.

• Step 6: Parents orientation program

TPIS will conduct an orientation program to the parents/guardian before the commencement of the new academic session. This program will acquaint the parents with the Vision, Mission, and Ethos of the School.

APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION

The school shall issue the application form. Issue of the application form is dependent on the child’s age. The brochure, application form for admission and relevant documents can be obtained from the school office.

The application form duly filled along with a recent passport size photograph affixed, must be submitted to the school office, along with the following documents:

• Birth Certificate copy.
• 3 Latest passport size photographs of the student.
• Aadhar card copy (Parent and child).
• Previous class final report card’s copy (if applicable).
• Original TC (at the time of admission, if applicable).
