Our Admission Process

At The Polaris International School (TPIS), we wish to make the admission process clear and convenient for prospective parents. Our process helps us understand your child’s needs and provides you with an insight into our educational system and school environment.

Eligibility: Age Criteria

Admission is subject to the condition that the child meets the age criterion for the relevant class as of the start date of the academic year.

Step-by-Step Tutorial

Step 1: First Enquiry & School Visit

• Go to the school’s admission office to get an Admission Enquiry Form.
• Complete this form and submit it to the admission officer.
• You can request a tour of the school campus at this stage.

Step 2: Entrance Test & Interview (Grade 1 and above)

• If applying for Grade 1 or higher, the admission officer will arrange for an entrance test date.
• The assessment covers general knowledge in Kannada, English, and Mathematics.
• After evaluation, shortlisted candidates, with parent/guardian, will appear for a compulsory meeting with the Principal. (Kindly note that this is a component of the evaluation process).

Step 3: Application for Registration

• After satisfactory evaluation and interview, the Principal will approve the release of the official Application Form for Registration.
• Collect this form at the admissions office.

Step 4: Submit Application Form & Documents

• Fill up the Application Form in full. Please inform the admission officer in case your child requires special care due to medical reasons.
• Attach one recent passport-sized photo of your child to the application.
• Submit the completed form with copies of the documents listed:
  • Child’s Birth Certificate
  • Child’s Aadhaar Card
  • Parents’ Aadhar Cards
  • Three (3) recent passport-size photographs of the child
  • Last school final report card (marks card) (if available)

Step 5: Fee Payment & Admission Confirmation

• Admission is on a first-come-first-served basis based on available seats in the concerned class on successful completion of the above steps.
• To secure your child’s position, the fees due must be paid in full on receipt of the offer of admission.
• The Original Transfer Certificate (TC) of the last school should be produced on confirmation of admission. You might also be required to produce the Original Birth Certificate for verification.
